This is Dr. Peyton McElroy and she will be serving as a mentor to my studies in healthcare ethics this year. Dr. McElroy is a bioethics professor at the University of South Alabama. She went to graduate school at Stanford University where she wrote a wonderful dissertation on the value of putting bad things to good use. So far she has been a tremendous help in helping me find the right materials and getting me in contact with other professionals in the field. It has been amazing getting to speak with her because it is easy to see that she is truly passionate about her field of study and would love to share it with me.
